The W-8 Form is a document that allows foreign investors to avoid double taxation on the dividends they receive from their investments in the U.S. Without this form, they would automatically be taxed in the U.S. and then have to pay taxes again when declaring those earnings in their country of residence.

Investors must send their tax identification number to Hapi to ensure that the U.S. tax is not applied.

What Should I Do with It?
In the Menu, go to Account Settings. In the "About Your Investments" section, click on the W-8 BEN Form and complete it by entering your tax identification number.
