SpaceX (SPCX) on Hapi — Frequently Asked Questions

Last updated: June 11, 2026. Information subject to change as the IPO develops.

1. Will SpaceX be available on Hapi?

Yes. SpaceX will trade under the ticker SPCX on the Nasdaq. When it becomes available on Hapi, we will notify you by email and through the app. Availability depends on the Nasdaq and our clearing firm Apex — not on Hapi directly.

2. When will it be available? Date and time?

The IPO is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026. However, it will not be available at the regular market open (9:30 AM ET).

This is an extraordinary event. Historically, high-demand IPOs open between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM ET, though the opening may be delayed by minutes or hours while the Nasdaq and underwriters manage the process. This is outside Hapi's control.

We will notify you through the app and by email as soon as it becomes available.

3. What order types can I use?

Before SPCX officially opens, only limit orders for whole shares will be accepted in queue. Market orders will not be available until the official opening price is established.

Once SPCX begins trading, market, limit, stop, and stop-limit orders will be accepted for both buying and selling.

4. Can I buy fractional shares of SpaceX?

Fractional shares will become available once Apex confirms that SPCX volatility is within acceptable ranges. They are not expected to be enabled on the opening day. We will notify you when they become available.

5. Will it be available for 24/5 Trading?

SPCX is expected to be available for 24/5 trading starting Sunday evening, June 14, with bands of ±20% around the reference price. Orders outside that range will be rejected.

On IPO day (Friday the 12th), trading will be limited to regular market hours only.

6. What price will it open at?

The opening price will be determined at the time of the IPO — there is no fixed price prior to the first trade. The price may differ significantly from any prior estimates. High volatility is expected during the first hours of trading, which may result in wide spreads and potential market halts.

7. Are there additional restrictions?

Yes, by regulation:

  • Margin: SPCX will not be margin-eligible on IPO day. Under Regulation T, newly issued securities are generally not eligible for margin during the first 30 days.

  • Short selling: Not available on IPO day.

  • Options: Options on SPCX are scheduled for June 16, subject to change. They will not be available on IPO day.

  • Basket orders: Not available until SPCX officially opens.
