Can I have an account if I am under 18?
Can I have an account if I am under 18?
Updated over a week ago

Currently, by law, Hapi only accepts accounts from individuals aged 18 and above, so we cannot accept you as a customer. This is why the option to register a birth date under 18 is not enabled during the registration process.

We hope to accept accounts for minors with adult supervision in the near future.

I registered an account while under 18 and made a deposit - What do I do?

If you registered an account while under 18, made a deposit, and the option to register a birth date under 18 was not enabled, you may have provided incorrect information in your registration, and your account cannot be approved.

In this case, you have a few options:

  1. Wait until you reach the legal age and contact Hapi to approve your account.

  2. Contact support and request a withdrawal of funds to a bank account in your country.

  3. Ask your parents or guardians to register an account with their details and then contact support to request the transfer of funds to that account.
