Does Hapi see my conversations with the AI?
No. Hapi does not see what you talk about with your assistant. It only receives the specific requests the AI makes to your account (for example, “view positions”) and records which one it was, when and from which assistant, without the content of the answers. Hapi keeps this record, together with your authorizations and disconnections, to comply with its regulatory obligations.
Who receives my data?
The provider of the assistant you chose: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT) or Anysphere (Cursor). The data the AI reads leaves Hapi for that provider by your decision and with your authorization, and the provider treats it under its own terms and privacy policy, not Hapi’s. Under those terms, the provider may store your data or use it to train its models, and Hapi cannot delete what has already been sent. We recommend that you review them, for example, to learn how to turn off the use of your conversations to train models.
Do I share my personal data?
Your email, phone, address, identity documents, account number and bank details are not shared. The financial data the AI reads is shared (portfolio, positions, transactions, margin, watchlists), as well as the names you gave to your custom portfolios and watchlists. Avoid putting personal data in those names.
The AI made a mistake, what do I do?
The AI receives the real data from your account, but the interpretation and the answer are generated by the AI, not Hapi, and it can make mistakes: miscalculating, confusing assets or dates, or showing incomplete information. Before making any decision, verify the information in the Hapi app or web, which is the official source for your account.
The AI’s answers are not investment recommendations from Hapi, and Hapi does not review or approve them. Hapi is self-directed and does not provide recommendations. If you see a difference between what the AI says and what you see in Hapi, tell us through our support team: it helps us improve.
Can the AI make trades for me?
No. The connection is read-only: it cannot buy, sell, deposit, withdraw or change anything in your account.
How does Hapi protect my account?
The AI never receives your password; it receives a limited permission that expires automatically after 30 days and that you can revoke at any time from Settings → Connected AI. To authorize a connection we always ask for your password and a code by email, and we notify you every time an AI connects. Even so, only authorize connections that you started yourself. Keep in mind that the information you share with a third-party assistant is outside Hapi’s systems and subject to that provider’s security controls.
Can I use another AI?
Not for now. Only Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor are accepted.
