When you buy or sell a bond, the following costs may apply:
Hapi fee: Hapi charges 0.35% of the transaction value, with a minimum of $3.99 per transaction. Applies to Treasuries and corporate bonds.
Regulatory fees (sales only): the Regulatory SEC fee and the TAF may apply, as applicable. These fees are charged through Apex Clearing Corporation and are not Hapi fees.
Accrued interest: this is not a Hapi fee. It's the interest generated by the bond since the last coupon payment. If you buy a bond between payment dates, you pay the seller the interest corresponding to the elapsed period. It's shown on the order confirmation screen.
