Crypto Trading Fees

When you trade cryptocurrencies on the Hapi app, your order is sent to Bakkt Crypto for execution, and your crypto assets are stored there.

Bakkt Crypto charges a 1% fee on the trade amount for its service. This fee covers all transaction-related costs as well as crypto custody.

Hapi licenses its software to Bakkt Crypto for crypto trading and receives a portion of the revenue in return.

📝 Example: Let’s say cryptocurrency ABC has a market price of US$100, and you decide to buy 1 unit of ABC. Bakkt Crypto will apply a 1% fee on the purchase amount. This means that for buying US$100 of ABC, an additional US$1 fee will be charged, making the total cost of the transaction US$101.

💡 Important: The more you trade, the better the rates. If you trade higher volumes or you're a Prime user, you'll access reduced crypto transaction fees.

How does the Bakkt fee work?

At Hapi, we don’t charge brokerage fees for stock and ETF transactions.

However, cryptocurrencies are different assets, and all crypto transactions on Hapi are processed through Bakkt Crypto, which applies a fee to each trade.

Also, the higher your 30-day crypto trading volume, the lower the fees you pay.
